Christopher André d’Entremont MP, born on October 31, 1969, is a Canadian politician known for his tenure in the House of Commons representing West Nova since 2019 as a member of the Conservative Party. Prior to his federal political career, he served as the representative for Argyle-Barrington in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 2003 to 2019, affiliated with the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservatives. D’Entremont achieved notable distinctions when he was elected as the deputy speaker and chair of Committees of the Whole in 2021 through a secret ballot. He holds the honor of being the first person of Acadian descent to assume the role of deputy speaker and the first Nova Scotian deputy speaker of the House of Commons of Canada since 1916.
